Let’s Keep Our Community Clean & Safe. The Town has recently received reports of increased rodent activity in some areas of the community. While this can occur seasonally, there are steps we can all take to help reduce and prevent issues.

What Attracts Rodents?

• Bird feeders (especially spilled seed)
• Unsecured garbage or compost
• Pet food left outdoors
• Wood piles, sheds, and yard debris
• Chicken coops, duck pens, and other farm animals, where feed and shelter may present

Saw Rats Around?
Take action to address the issue!

• Secure garbage
• Clean up spilled seed
• Store animal feed properly
• Seal entry points

If you are seeing rodents around your property, we recommend taking the necessary steps to address the issue promptly. This may include removing attractants, securing food sources, and contacting a licensed pest control provider if needed.
